Ultra compact and extremely versatile wireless microphone system consisting of a two-channel receiver and two transmitters. The set's transmitters feature a built-in omnidirectional condenser microphone for completely wireless operation, but thanks to the microphone's 3.5mm TRS input, they can also be used as a bodypack for an external lavalier microphone. The system has a range of powerful features including universal compatibility with cameras, mobile devices, and computers, up to 200m range, transmission stability, internal memory recording capability, and a 'Safety channel' function.

  • Dual-channel wireless microphone system for simultaneous recording of two audio sources.
  • Extremely small and lightweight wireless set 2x transmitter + 1x receiver.
  • Built-in omnidirectional condenser microphone in broadcast quality transmitters.

Unrivalled versatility

Wireless GO II takes wireless versatility to a whole new level. With a 3.5mm TRS analog output for connection to cameras and a USB-C digital audio output for connection to smartphones, tablets, and computers, it is ideal for audio/video content creation, filming, presentations, vlogging, YouTubing, live streaming, and more.

Integrated recording means you'll never have to worry about dropouts or audio problems again. Flexible gain control allows you to precisely tailor the output to your device. Wireless GO II also offers the ability to record each channel separately or combine them, providing maximum flexibility in post-production.

Ultra-compact wireless audio

Wireless GO II offers the same pocket-sized units as the original Wireless GO. The transmitters and receiver weigh less than 32g and take up virtually no space in a bag, backpack, purse, or briefcase. It comes with a handy transport case for easy and safe carrying. The unique clip design of the Wireless GO II allows for quick and easy attachment to clothing or mounting to a camera shoe, mobile camera kit, microphone pole, or any accessory that has a camera shoe.

Professional sound. Seamless connection

Wireless GO II has been designed to deliver professional quality sound while making it as easy to use as possible. The transmitters and receiver are automatically paired, ensuring a seamless setup every time. The RØDE Series 2.4 GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption offers a range of up to 200 m (line-of-sight) and is optimized for extremely stable operation in areas with high RF activity, including dense urban environments, shopping malls, universities, convention centers, or offices.

Each transmitter features a high-quality condenser microphone capsule with omnidirectional characteristics for completely wireless recording and a 3.5mm TRS input for connecting an external Lavalier microphone. The Wireless GO II also comes with furry wind protectors for recording in windy or inclement weather. Crystal clear, professional sound in every situation.

RØDE Central

The RØDE Central app, which is available free of charge for both Mac and Windows platforms, allows you to set user preferences and access, optimize and export recordings, and activate or deactivate features and firmware updates. It is very easy to use even for complete beginners.

More features = more flexibility

Connecting Wireless GO II to RØDE Central gives you access to many useful features, including the "Safety Channel". This useful feature allows recording a second channel with -20 dB attenuation as a backup in case of signal distortion on the main channel or accidental transmitter muting. This way you will never lose your recorded material in perfect form.

Internal recording

Each Wireless GO II transmitter has integrated recording capability, with enough internal memory to store over 24 hours of compressed recording and 7 hours of uncompressed recording. When this feature is activated, recording begins as soon as the transmitters are connected to the receiver, so you will always have a backup of your recording in case there are dropped connections between the transmitter and receiver or other problems recording audio to the connected device.

Once you've loaded your recorded files into RØDE Central, you'll be able to pinpoint any dropouts and simply replace those passages with a continuous recording from the transmitter's memory. That's called carefree recording.

Connecting devices:

  • Camera and camcorder

Connect Wireless GO II to cameras, camcorders, and other devices with a 3.5mm TRS input using the included SC5 cable. If you need to connect a microphone to a device with an XLR input, use an adapter such as the VXLR Pro.

  • Computer

Connect the Wireless GO II to any computer with a USB-A input using the included USB cable. For computers with a USB-C input, use the USB-C to USB-C cable (not included). Then, on the connected computer, go to the audio settings and select "Wireless GO II RX" as the input device. This essentially turns the Wireless GO II receiver into a wireless USB audio interface.

  • Mobile devices (smartphones and tablets)

You will need additional cables to connect the Wireless GO II to your smartphone or tablet. For iOS devices with a Lightning input, use the SC15 (USB-C to Lightning) cable. Wireless GO II is MFi certified, which means it will communicate seamlessly with any iOS device. For Android devices and other devices with a USB-C input, use the SC16 (USB-C to USB-C) cable.

Our recommendation:

Connect the Wireless GO II to your smartphone or tablet via USB-C instead of using the 3.5mm TRS analog output. This will give you access to several useful features:

  • High-quality audio output - by using the USB-C output, the audio signal bypasses the analog input circuitry of the recording device (often of poor quality) and provides an optimal digital signal transfer.
  • Headphone monitoring - using the USB-C output frees up the 3.5mm TRS output so you can plug in headphones and listen to the audio while recording. Additionally, headphone volume can be easily controlled with the gain control.
  • Access to the "Safety Channel" function - When using a smartphone, this function is only accessible when the phone is connected to the USB-C output.
