VXLR PRO
Reduction from 3.5 mm TRS jack to XLR with symmetrizing transformer More information
RODE VXLR Pro is a cable reduction from a 3.5mm TRS (F) jack to a classic XLR (M) jack with an internal transformer and phantom power converter, designed to connect microphones with 3.5mm TRS output to devices with XLR input.
- 3.5 mm TRS (F) to XLR (M) reduction
- Internal transformer for signal balancing
- Phantom voltage conversion from 12-48 V to 4 V.
- 3.5 mm TRS threaded connector
The VXLR Pro has several useful features. It is capable of converting an unbalanced signal from the microphone to a balanced signal. This is a very useful feature, especially if you are using a microphone, such as the VideoMic NTG, on a microphone pole with a long cable routed to a mixer, sound card, or audio recorder.
Another useful feature is the conversion of 12-48V phantom power to 4V, which allows a wide range of microphones such as the VideoMic and VideoMic GO to be powered directly from the XLR input of a mixer, etc. For secure connection of a 3.5mm TRS jack, it is equipped with a locking connector.
