OSIX CMIT is an adaptation of the OSIX 3, for the new Schoeps CMIT 5 microphone. With the benefit of its lightness, size and steep slope low cut filter, this microphone is particularly adapted to the OSIX technics. It also can be used with a CMC microphone combined with a CUT1 filter.

In the classical OSIX range:

Ais the general shape of the FRONT isolators in the case of Cradle n°3 (CMIT, 3-60, ...)
Bis the general shape of the BACK isolators in the case of Cradle n°3 (CMIT, 3-60, ...)
Cis the general shape of the FRONT isolators in the case of Cradle n°1 & 2 (CMC, 416, KM100, ...)
Dis the general shape of the BACK isolators in the case of Cradle n°1 & 2 (CMC, 416, KM100, ...)

The cradle number: 1 is short (74 mm including XLR), 2 is medium (94 mm including XLR), 3 is long (124 mm including XLR).

The following number indicates the grade. It goes from 2 (soft) to 4 (hard).
